slaveboard change to programmable logic controller

can i change the slaveboard to programmable logic controller? i that possible?

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile

Anything is possible if you have the time and money to spend on it.
Although I still don't know what is wrong with your machine ?
Have you tried to get it working with the DOS software ?

If you really want to update it to run with modern CNC software on a PC, then you should look at MACH 3 - sweep on this forum has just updated his old Triac, see this thread:

This basically involves using the existing stepper drives, and controlling them through the parallel printer port from the Mach CNC software on the PC. The hardest part is building an interface to control the drives and other existing relays (eg spindle)
