From our records, the machine had a Denford-made DM8 toolpost with Omron drive:
OMRON
3G3JV 0.55KW
N9P1931-001-12

What has happened to the old one ? Does it need replacing or repairing ?

Some parts of it has worn, for example pic - parts inner diameter is now 1,5mm larger; rotary switch (ordered one already) and hooks or jaws (i don't know how to call them :) ). I think it rather needs to be replaced.

Our designer is off work at the moment, so we will have to wait for his return to see what or if we can offer

Hi,

We do not have any parts for the DM 8 turret.

Attached is a link to the turret drawing.

https://www.denfordata.com/projectimages ... rawing.pdf

Can you identify the part you require and we can then have a look to see if there is anything we can do to help?

This post may be helpfull also

Hi,

So, the parts:

TP126/3 - Worm gear
TP126/5 - Reversing Bush
TP126/8 - Locking Pawl

Last week I received and installed new Rotary Switch (Grayhill), now the machine functions a bit better. But I wish to replace all worn parts if possible.

kind regards,
Karlis :)

Hi,

Sorry to say we dont stock any of the items but the Worm gear was made by Hewwitt & Topham

Royd Way, Keighley, West Yorkshire BD21 3LG United Kingdom Telephone: +44 (0) 1535 602587

I have attached drawings for all the parts. I am sure you can make your own on some of them but can subcontract the others.
