I have 6 of these machine control keyboards that plug into the back of a computers old style serial port.
I have the manuals too.

I am lacking the software. Does anyone know anything about what software this need, or where to get it?

I'm never sure which version is which, but download the DOS software and try fanucm or fanucmd etc...

I think they will work offline with the tutor keyboards

Looked at my Tutor keypads today. I have 5 for Fanuc mill and 1 for Fanuc Lathe.

I will download the Fanuc DOS and just keep trying till I get the right one.

Incedently, is this truly DOS, or can I run in 98 or XP under a DOS window?

Thanks. This Forum is awsome.

Not sure but I think the offline might work under 98 or even XP, I have a feeling that the issues arise when trying to connect to the real machine.
Saying that, the tutor may not connect under 98/xp...
