Q. Microrouter X axis not running correctly to readout i.e. miss positioning

A. Ensure that the guide rails and lead screws are free from debris i.e. plastic / acrylic swarf stuck to them

Ensure that the guide rails and lead screws are well lubricated

Remove the anti backlash nuts on the X axis frame ( 3 Allen screw holding them in position and clean out.
Important ! Make sure that the anti backlash nuts are replaced in the same orientation as when they were removed, if not and they are 120 degree out then “Crabbing” of the access will occur

If this is after a new software installation or computer change ensure the correct machine type is selected. Different machines have different ballscrew and step ratios so selecting the wrong machine could result in the machine moving too fast, slow, far or little.

Check the machine type displayed at the top of the screen is the actual machine you have (check the machine serial number label)
