Press "Menu Offset" key and check the "Work Shift" values, and check what the values are, not necessarliy a problem, just that the previous owner set it up that way. Then set the Z to 0.00 and the X to 0.00 and using MPG wind the X and Z axis at least 50mm away from Zero position, set the "Traverse Feed Override" to about 50~60% and then "Home" the machine again.
The Z axis should then show 0.00 and the X will probably read 158.0, doesn`t matter, whatever it reads write it down and then go back to your "Menu Offset" screen and input that X number in as a Minus - value for the X "Workshift" value and then press the "Position" key and your control should now show "Absolute", "Relative" and "Machine" positions all at X0.00 and Z0.00.
BTW have you downloaded all those Parameters etc yet?? Do it ASAP, you never know, you might just do something like switch the control off because you have got the "LSK" flashing in the bottom right corner of the screen, do that and you will lose ALL Parameters etc from the control!!!
