We have bought a 1989 Starturn 8 from a college and are trying to get it up and running. The best bet we can come up with software wise, is the "Starturn very old DOS software" off the Denford web site. But we get a "DONGLE NOT FOUND" error message when trying to run the software

Mr Magoo reply ............
This old stuff used the machine as the dongle.
It first checks for the machine connected and if it finds it then runs OK. If not then it checks for a dongle and if not present it shows the “dongle not found” message
So sounds like it’s not found the machine. Look in the readme.txt file in that ZIP for more clues
Best I can offer I’m afraid
