Hi all,
I had a problem with 2D Design today and am hoping someone may be able to shed some light on it for me! I was unable to export my 2D Design file to an FNC file. I was using File - Plot - Microrouter link as I always have done (and had been using the machine in this way all day with no problems). Neither had I done anything different with the files or the way I set the machining parameters up.
When I opened up VR Milling and tried to find the FNC file, I could only find a saved .dtd file instead. I re-tried everything I could think of to save the design but it still kept returning as a .dtd file.
Please can someone help?
Thanks,
Zoe
2D Design files (DTD) not exporting to (FNC) even with Plot

In the Folder where the techsoft software is installed there is a file called 2ddes.ini
This file contains the path where the FNC file is created.
By default it will save in C:\DENFORD\DATA
It is possible to change this path. See the other posts.
Check you have read right access to the directory where the files are saved.

Thanks Steve & Bradders,
I'll have a look and see if these things work and get back to you if not...
There was an error message, but I don't remember at this stage what it was - the only thing I remember is that it told me I was trying to load a .dtd file into VRMilling.
Anyway, I'll give it another go...
Cheers!
