One of my customers uses his router in a middle school. They machine 40-50 cars every quarter. The machine is running full time. He was having trouble with keeping the machine clean. The small vacuam attachment just wasn't doing the job. The machine filling up with wood chips and cause problems with the microswitches.
He went to his local plastics supplier and purchased a piece of LEXAN and made a adapter to attach his shop dust collection system to the router. He said it works like a charm. He no longer has that constant build up in the router cabinent. See the attached photos ...
