When i try to connect to my DOS run machine tool i get the message "Error 50 Mint Controller Not Connected"
This message simply means that the DOS software is not talking / connecting to the machine tool
1. Is the PC COM port working (try plugging in a Serial mouse and see if it works)
2. Is the RS232 cable free form damage and secure in both PC and Machine Tool ports?
3. Check the status of the 7 segment display on the controller baord in the Machine control box, is it illuminated ? if not check all fuses and 24v power supply
4. Usually if the fuses are OK then the 7 segment display will show a "L" this denotes that the software is not communicating with the machine
