Raster problem on Techsoft 2D Design

Post by tecteach » Mon 21 May , 2007 13:24 pm

I have tried using Techsoft 2D Design with the denford extension and then using VR Miller to see the output. The problem is VR Milling shows my drawing being rastered ie being machined in lines rather than being profiled.
The result is a circle that looks like a sprocket !
Can anyone please help me out on this one as I really need to get this working quickly. :D
Why did I choose this profession, cos it aint for the money !

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

A plain circle or arc in techsoft would normally come out as a profiled arc move in VR Milling through the Denford Extension.

Maybe your 2D Design has got a line thickness, or has some sort of fill, which is causing lots of raster lines to be generated by the Techsoft software.

Attach the .des file for us to look at if you like
