Hi I have a Zeroturn with 6 position tool post and fanuc 0tb, memory fault happened yesterday rom parity 998 e01 and e02
I tried to re input the parameters but it kept failing so I removed the 2 chips and replaced them with ones from a 0ta that i have the boards from.
Managed to get all the parameters back in ok but struggling with the diagnostics ones. I have a copy of my originals but when I input the 451 ones I keep getting a toolpost overheating warning and the contactor in the cabinet just keeps klicking
Also i cant edit some of the 400 ones that are different to my backup
anyone got any ideas.
thanks

Hi Martin thanks for the reply.
can you tell me what these actually refer to N0535, N0536, N0705 and N0708 as the ones you have sent me are different to the ones in the manual I have for the lathe
My manual has 535 P35 536 P25 705 P-189000 708 P 160000
thanks

Parameter 536 is Z Axis Backlash
Parameter 700 is X + Software Limit
Parameter 701 is Z + Software Limit
Parameter 704 is X - Software Limit
Parameter 705 is Z - Software Limit
Parameter708 is the Centre Line

Hi Martin thanks for the info. Still struggling to get the RH80 tool post to work.
could it be the 0E1 and 0E2 eproms that are the problem being from a 0Tc rather than 0Tb with the version being different
would it be possible to get some replacement eproms or the software to put onto new eproms

Ok update on problem . Got new eproms and copied data off original 0E1 and 0E2 chips then loaded onto new chips.
That worked and loaded all perameters and diagnostics that I assume are the default ones so just had to edit a few to match ones i have for machine.
Only problem I have now is air chuck not working.
any ideas???????????

Hi Martin, yes have set 450 diagnostics. Ive tried loads of different settings in a vain attempt
What I have noticed is the foot pedal for the chuck does nothing but program M11 and M10 do partially operate the chuck also the door air ram can only be operated by nc program not with the control panel switch, .
What seems to happen with the chuck is the air does not continue only for a short time which then means it does not close.
Possibly even though we have copied the original eproms maybe there is a fault in the program so would be handy to get a fresh copy.

We no longer have a copy of the Eproms at Denfords.
Have you set Diagnostic 453 bit 0 to 1? (Diagnostic setup marker - Reverts back to 0).

Hi martin, 453 was set 0 have just tried 1 no difference. Is there anyone that would have a copy ? is there any parameter that would give a longer/continuous air blast to the chuck?

Hi Again, have just noticed that if i m39 command the door ram operates and i can press the control panel switch to open, but control panel switch will not actuate door closing. This also seems to be the case with the chuck apart from chuck does not fully close. so M11 operates chuck and foot pedal does open chuck but foot pedal will not activate chuck closing.
