Micromill

Post by terry1956 »

Hi, I have a Denford micromill. All the old Denford boards are still in the machine. The spindle as been swapped out for a stand alone unit. I would like to run the mill using Mach3. Can anyone please let me know if it’s possible to somehow connect a Mach3 breakout board to the original Denford board so I can use the Denford power supply and board to control the stepper drivers and motors. Thanks.

Thanks, I just hope my Denford board is the same. But it looks like it can be done, just need to find the correct connections.

It's in multiple parts and he seems to cover it in some detail.
