Hello all, would an Orac 100mm chuck fit a new Novaturn lathe?

Many thanks,

David.

Without trying to guess whats on the Orac I'd agree with Triac Whizz:

You could hopefully make your own adaptor plate if needs be.

I am sure you can get an adaptor plate to make the chuck fit.

Do you have an automatic toolchanger?

If so you will have problems if you have any internal tools fitted in the turret disc as they will colide with the chuck jaws!

If you take out the internal tools there is no reason why you cannot use the chuck.

You should have enough clearance over the cross slide.
