Novaturn won't connect

Hi All. I am having an issue trying to connect to an upgraded to USB nova turn using VR turning. It seems it is still trying to connect using the RS232 and searching com ports rather than looking at the USB port. I am told it has worked previously so am I just missing a setting somewhere? Thanks for any help.

It could be any one of the below.

1. Have you installed the USB drivers?
The 32 bit & 64 bit USB drivers should be on the cd but you can download them from,

2. Make sure you have the correct machine selected.

3. Check that the seven segment LED on the control card is lit. May be a blown fuse.

Thanks for quick reply.

1 Drivers are installed.
2 I tried both machines from the select machine menu but didn't check they matched in the parameters. Hopefully it will be that. How do you know if its the NovaTurn or NovaTunNS or is it a case of try both and see?
3 will check this also.

Will update once I've had a look but may be a day or two.

If the control card is USB then it's a NS.
