Good day,
In my journey to restore my old Viceroy TDS 1 lathe this is the next subject that requires attention, the toolpost.
Is the following drawings available? I did a search on the forum but nothing turned up.
Relevant arrangement/assembly drawings:
ML 100/800 - Single way Toolpost (I did find a picture of this one but would not mind a beter quality scanned one if available)
ML 100/800A - 2way Toolpost
ML 119 - 4way Toolpost
Parts drawings:
ML 100/801 - Single way Toolpost body
ML 100/801A - 2way Toolpost body
ML 119/1A - 4way Toolpost body
SP 142 - Handle
The other relevant drawings I found in the scanned packages.
Kind regards
D

Re: TDS 1 LS-Toolpost drawings
ML 100 500 general arrangement drawing has a section and plan of the single toolpost, in sufficient detail that with a little judicious scaling off the drawing it should be possible to make one. Drg BVS 100 500, for the 280 Synchro model has a cross section through the 2 way toolpost as well.

Thank you for the suggestion, that would be plan B yes.
I am quite a stickler for detail and a perfectionist on top of that so I am hoping I can aquire the correct drawings...holding thumbs

You're (mostly) in luck again!

I think ML 100/800A - 2way Toolpost may have been superseded by ML119.
I don't think I've got any of the small size standard parts (SP) drawings - but that lever should be easy enough to dimension from the arrangement drawing.
I trust you get this machine cheap, given all the basic parts that it needs! And I hope you'll post some before and after pictures so we can see it's renovation.

Once again thank you very much for your help.
Yes, I got the machine for a very reasonable 'cheap' price compared to what a similar size rebranded Chinese machine would cost me new. And personally I believe that the Viceroy once restored will be a much more solid machine.
I will most definitely be posting pictures of the process and updates soon.
