As i am not fully up to speed with wiring diagrams, could some one tell me on the 'IBM to TRIAC' drawing below.
What the 'loop' symbol from pin 2 on the 7 pin connector stands for.

Roy,

Its the interwoven metal screen wire that surrounds the other plastic coated cables. Therefore you want "Screened cable" to make up the final cable

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

Hi I have got some cable which has a foil shield, will this do the job?
