altering feed and speed in auto mode VR Milling 2.16

Hi, I have a Novamill without the Feed and Speed override knobs fitted to the machine. I use VR Milling version 2.16 and in Auto mode the I can't alter Feed and Speed at all. They are set at 75% and 85% respectively. Is there a way to get the sliders or F5 to F8 buttons working? Alternatively how can I fit physical override pots? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you disconnect from the machine then go in to Setup Machine arameters (password is denny) the machine capability then untick both the feed & spindle override pots.
