In our company we have got a connection problem with the VMC 1300.
After an emergency shutdown the machine did not connect anymore properly with the PC.
We tried different PC's and checked every plug connection etc.
Furthermore we checked every single hint, given on the failure report "Machine Connection Problem" including a test of all visible fuses .
Have you got other suggestios, we can try to solve the connection problem?

Is the seven segment LED on the NextStep control card lit?
Can you run EasyUpgrader & see if that connects? https://www.denfordata.com/downloads/eas ... 1-9-cd.zip

Hi,
the LED on the nextStepCard is on. But only the middle line is flashed.
Is this some kind of code?
I downloaded the EasyUpgrader, too. But I can't finish the installation, because of an "ERROR 1309. reading from file"
Hope you can give me some other advice I can try

Can you try installing Mint Workbench which should be on the VRMilling CD. If you then try to connect it should scan all the ports.

Re: Connection Problem with the VMC 1300
Hi. I appreciate this is an old thread but don’t know where else to look.
I plowed a little too deep in to the block being machined and the motor stalled. I have changed the only fuse that had blown but my computer can no longer connect to my machine (vmc 1300).
The led at the back is reading the number 5 (or S). Does anyone know what this could mean. I’m hoping/assuming this may be an error code.
Any help would be very appreciated.
