Novamill X bearings.

Hi all,

I have a novamill from august/2000, nice Little machine, but was more than surprised when I saw the open bearings on the X ballscrew the other day (see Pictures)...

You can see the paint on the outer bearing part so it has been like that since new... and the mill is like new...

Is there surposed to be a seal here??

Thanks, why would denford leave the angular contact bearings open?

Guess I will put a 19-32-7 seal in...
