Do any of you have assembly drawings or photos of the cross slide assembly to see if adjusting the backlash is even possible?
There is a thread about EasiMills which shows the ballnuts and says they are not adjustable. I don't really want to strip the machine just to find out it's impossible!
The machine has had a hard life with me and runs almost every day - but it's been fantastic and it really deserves the effort to reduce the backlash (currently about 3 thou on Z and 1 thou in X).
Any advice would be most welcome!
