The monitor on my ORAC lathe has failed. On a visual check of the monitor PCB I founnd diode D3 had a dry joint, so resoldered it but still no joy. I took the monitor to my local TV repair shop...........the guy freaked out, you would have thought I had put a pile of dog poo on the counter. With the usual sucking of teeth that these guys make he informed me I would need to bring "it" back in its original case. I aquired an old multi voltage (12 - 36v) CCTV type monitor from work and have run with that for about 12 months........but now that has also packed up! I think! Anybody know where I can get the original monitor repaired? The external TV connector works on my small TV OK so I guess the modulator is OK. Orac was suplied 28-09-87 serial number AC 12087C. Hope sombody can help.

Thanks Denford Admin. I work in Slough so omi-monitors are not too far away from me. But I will also wait and see what you post for sale in the clasified section.
