Right
I have a processor board from the starturn I've just refitted. I think it works but no guarantees. If anyone is interested then give me a shout.
Also, I have a BBC micro and BBC master, monitor and knackered disc drive with what should be a starturn disc. One of the BBCs should have a Starturn ROM chip in it. Make me an offer.
Cheers

Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

Well the BBCs aren't too big a deal - they may get ebayed. However it seems a shame to let them go with at least one if not 2 Rom chips in there. Would you be interested in the Rom chips at least fro the Denford Museum - or you could pass them on to someone who needs them. These are the items that take up the most room. The processer board is only a bit bigger than an A4 piece of paper.
Luckily my good lady is quite good - allthough she didn't like the idea of putting traction engine wheels under the kitchen worktop!!
Cheers

I remember reading a few threads a few years ago where this guy was desperate to find and copy the BBC eproms.
If you sent them to us, we could possibly read them and keep them for prosperity. Although, I'm sure they are read protected.
Maybe a few years ago, it was viable to keep the BBC running a machine, but nowadays, with MACH and car boot PC's, it doesn't seem worth the effort

Dear Dave,
I've got an old Starturn and I'd love to be able to control it from a PC. How did you upgrade yours? Do you have any advice?
