I recently purchased a Triac cnverted to Mach 3 from a member on here. Just a link to some videos of the machine

I am very impressed with the machine and am purchasing a second with an ATC.
I will post up videos as soon as I have the machine.

Re: Mach 3 Triac
Here are some pictures of parts I have made on the Triac
I make 1/32 scale models for sale, mostly from aluminium and tooling board.
The part being machined in the video belongs to the model of the slurry tanker.
I use Mastercam and Deskproto to create my G Code

Re: Mach 3 Triac
Yes very impressive - I'm amazed to see how smoothly Mach3 runs the machine.
What is your basic setup ? ie, which BOB, drivers and steppers have you fitted ?

Re: Mach 3 Triac
I havn't actually carried out the conversion but the man who has will hopefully post a reply explaining. I have since purchased a Triac with a toolchanger from him which will be operated using Mach 3 also.
I could use 4 Triac's as they are perfect for my needs and I mostly cut aluminium. I am hoping to attach a high speed spindle onto the side of the column of one at some stage for 0.5mm cutters etc as I make patterns for 1/32 scale model wheels which are intricate.
So far I cant fault the Triac. The enclosure is great, the machine is rugged and coolant is excellent for my needs. I hope to fit a Syil 4th axis onto one machine also at some stage to make patterns for model tyre's as I am using a very small 4 axis machine at the moment which is a Proxxon conversion
