No homing

Post by Crakkers »

Hi

VL300 no longer homes when switching on and completing work. In fact machine now does not work. The homing is simulated within the laser software but not physically home, ie lower and raise the bed to the prescribed height.

I have also noticed that within the laser software that has green amber and red leds, only the amber and red flash. What does this indicate?

Hi there,

1. Does the Laser software connect to the laser OK ?
2. Is the fan running on the Laser ?
3. Check out the 2 fuses are OK, in the little pull out drawer underneath the kettle plug on the rear of the Laser.
4. Is there 240V on the Kettle plug ?

I'm glad you are up and running.

Green - Compressor or Extraction fan should be running
Amber Flashing - USB communications
Red - Door open / closed

I presumed he meant the LED's on the Versa Laser USB communications boards, i.e. the extraction fan and compressor unit. Plus the RED led on the button pad
