Orac lathe

Hello,Please can anyone help.The spindle on my Orac has just stopped.Checked out the obvious but no luck.Any help appreciated.

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

Have you tried to force the spindle to run by linking the run command input on the spindle drive ? This will eliminate any interlocking (eg guard switch) issues - that is, if the Orac had any ?

I believe this is your spindle drive :

Thanks for that.No interlocks fitted,any thing else

I'd definately go down the route of getting the drive to run by linking the run / enable with your own switch (4,5,6) and a pot on the speed control pins (1,2,3)
If that works, then you'll be looking for old, broken or corroded wiring is my guess.

I presume you've found and checked all the fuses ?
