Autochanger
I am looking to sell my autochanger, originally from an Easiturn lathe.
Does anyone know what it might be worth?

Re: Easiturn 3 Zero Datum
Thanks for your advice.
Before I try this, is it possible to get access to the leadscrew and wind it back manually ?
The switches are round base. I suppose that means I can expect ongoing reliability problems! Since the board has to come out to solder in new switches anyway, is it easy to modify ...

Easiturn 3 Zero Datum
Hi,
When moving to zero datum after start-up, the z travel sticks about an inch from the end. The motor is straining away so I assume it is mechanically stuck. I think it may be the leadscrew cover which I've had trouble with before but this time it won't budge. I need to move the carriage back ...

Settings for communications with PC
Having trouble getting the Industrial Text Editor program to communicate with my Easiturn3.
This is what I've done so far:
-Made a cable according to the wiring diagram given in various posts, to connect to the 15 pin serial port on my laptop running windows 98.
-Tested Easiturn RS232 port both at ...

Re: Easiturn toolchanger
Thanks for the reply.
I downloaded and checked the Novaturn manual, but the toolchanger on my Easiturn seems to be slightly different.
There is only 1 screw/locknut not 2 as shown in the instructions.
Is it just adjusted on this 1?

Easiturn toolchanger
I've recently acquired an Easiturn lathe, and am trying to familiarise myself with it.
I seem to have a problem with the tool height which is about 2mm below the centre. I guess the 8 way toolchanger must be adjustable to correct this, since there is a sticker on it which says "ROTATE TURRET DURING ...

Easiturn
Hi,
My first foray into CNC, so I'm hoping for some advice.
I'm considering the Easiturn 3 lathe.
Assuming the original control system functions correctly, what are it's limitations?
What are the benefits of upgrading to run modern PC based software, and how involved/expensive is it likely to be ...
