Thanks for the reply , could you tell me on the parameters that suggest I could try , what do I enter where you have put the "x" ?? I thought that I could only enter 0 or 1 and no letters ,

If it were bolted on in the wrong position then surely that would also make it go to the wrong position when machining ?? also I am sure that it was working perfectly when the machine was last used October of last year and then the spindle drive inverter blew up and have only recently bought a new o...

Thanks for the reply , what I have now done is to scrap the Mitsubishi drive unit as the company who have it for repair are struggling to find a new part required so I have decided to purchase a new drive unit , thanks for your help much appreciated

Do you know if Denford are still able to supply Spindle drive Inverters for a 1992 cyclone lathe ?? does it have to be a Mitsubishi or will one of the others that Denford used be ok ?? any idea on prices of these units ??

Many thanks for the info it is much appreciated , however I have found a major problem with PCB inside spindle drive one of the capacitors looks to have been changed and very poorly replaced and where the soldering was not done properly it has burnt a hole into the PCD and burnt part of the circuit ...

Have not got camera hady at the moment but the details are as follows : (Spindle Drive) Make - Mitsubishi / Model - FR-Z024-2.2K and the Fanuc control is a OT-Model A , hope that is all the info required

Is there anyone who can give me a list of what each parameter does ?? I have all the parameters from my machine and people have been kind enough to give me certain info on some of the parameters but it would be nice and helpful if I could have a full list

The serial number of my machine is CY14111A and year of manufacture March 1992 , it is a cyclone lathe and the fanuc control is OT-A , hope that helps

if the slideway lube oil was low would that cause the spindle to trip the alarm ?? also you say I could alter the deceleration parameter , could you tell me which number parameter this is ??

Hi to everyone who helped me overcome the self inflicted problems that I had with my Cyclone thankfully with all your help the machine has sprung back into life , must be more careful with what I do next time , again thanks for all your help

Cheers for the info much appreciated after re-entering all main parameters again have got the air operated door and chuck working but whereas before the machine booted up but door etc did not work this time machine will not boot but door etc do , now I have checked double checked and again re-entere...
