Hi All, change of home forces sale due to no room in my next home, so it's time to let someone else own this great little lathe.
Denford Viceroy Screw Cutting Hobby Lathe TDS 1 S/L Single Phase with 3 jaw chuck, not 3ph as per the machien placard, 4 jaw independant chuck and faceplate. Runs from a standard 13A plug and has an angleposie lamp for extra light.
It has a limited set of screwcutting gears, one is 3D printed. Comes with 3D printed screwcutting dial indicator.
Lathe is imperial, has imperial leadscrew but I think it has a metric cross slide bizarrely! Topslide is imperial, Tailstock is imperial.
8 speeds, 4 via belt on drive selectable between upper and lower range via selection lever on lathe itself.
Power feed works on bed travel only and has fwd and rev options. Spindle lock is in the gearbox as well.
Tailstock is Morse Taper 3 but has a Morse Taper 2 adaptor.
Comes with 2 removable tool posts, no other tooling supplied other than what can be seen in the pictures. Items on shelf (cardboard and wooden boxes) are not included.
Lathe can be dismantled from base/stand to make moving it easier.
Help can be given with loading (I can help but it is up to you to load) or delivery can be arranged at cost and subject to where you are.
Lots more info on the lathe here: https://www.lathes.co.uk/viceroy/
I have a pdf copy of the user manual for it as well.
Can be seen working in Upleadon, Glos, GL18
I'm currently asking £625, no VAT
