ATC Novamill Main Fuse blow out

Hello and good morning everyone,

I have been the proud owner of a Novamill with tool changer for a few days now. I came across this forum while searching for some information about this machine.
I am having a few problems with the machine and the control system. The main fuse blows after a few minutes, regardless of whether I connect the ATC to the Novamill or not. The situation is always the same: the fuse blows after a short time.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? I'm not really an electrician myself and need some help.

Thanks in advance for your support.

Best regards, Christoph

What fuse is blowing?

Hello, sorry, I think I expressed myself incorrectly. I mean the FI switch.

I suspect the RFI filter. When I measure the resistance, I get a resistance of L1 or N1 to ground, which cannot be correct.

Sorry, I'm not the best at electronics.

The filter can fail especially if a PAT test has been performed.

Hello and good morning,

Let's assume that the RFI is defective and needs to be replaced. I have been searching online for this filter for a while now, unfortunately with little to no success.

Do you have any ideas or recommendations for an alternative to the Rasmi RFI? It appears that Rasmi no longer manufactures this RFI.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Best regards, Christoph

Problem solved, the RFI filter was defective, I installed a new one and now everything is working as usual again.

Thanks for your help.
