I produced the attached drawing using QT2DD (I zipped it because the forums won't accept .lcmfiles)
I then used the CAM Wizard to generate GCode in an .fnl file which is also attatched.
When I simulate running the code using QT2DD the internal turning tool makes a massive cut which would undoubtedly stall or damage a real machine.
The machine tooling and machine materials setting check out OK.
Hi Max. Thanks for this. I'm currently investigating. If the slight convex arc is set to be a line or a concave arc, the plans seem to be correct. It is internal convex arcs that are not being converted into step moves first.
The issue is if the is a convex arc as the first item on the internal cut. If it leads in with a linear line first, no matter how small, the arc will be roughed out correctly. We are checking further.
