Hi everyone
I hope someone will be able to help me. About eighteen years ago I had a Triac PNC3 that I used for cutting parts in my workshop. A couple of years later I closed the workshop and stored the Triac “temporarily” in an old tin shed on a farm. Fifteen years later I have now finally moved the machine back home and into a shed, where I hope to get the Triac working again for home/hobby use.
I have just tried powering the machine up, and one of the capacitors has failed spectacularly! I wonder if anyone would mind looking at their Triac PNC3 and please tell me what markings the capacitor has written on it. Please see photo. I am guessing, before the fire, it was a 22uf 16v tantalum bead capacitor, but it would be nice to know for sure?
Many thanks
Matt
