z axis slide rail assembly

Hi all,
I have noticed that there is alot of movement in the z axis assembly that hold that holds the motor on the slide rails, this has become apparent when trying to skim a job and I end up with an uneven finish, also when there is a change in direction of cut. Is there any adjustment to tighten up this movement or can the bushes that run along the slide rails be renewed?
