Denford VR Turn freeze on simulation - G42

Having problems when using G42 on some teaching programs we use in Denford VR Turn.

For some reason the program will run up to a certain point, then freeze the simulation!
I have checked for typo's in the program but cant see any typical errors.

Close the software down and reload, but on reload remove the G42, it will run fine!

Any help would be appreciated!

Was wondering if it was a software setting?

Ok, there were some issues (AKA bugs) in the software.
You can try a beta version with a fix:
https://www.denfordata.com/downloads/VRTurn1-29-beta.zip

This is just the main .exe file... I'd recommend installing/upgrading to 1.28 first, then overwriting the VRTurn.exe file with the one in the above .zip file.

Let us know how it goes.

phew.. that mean my programming was right!?

We are on netwrok here, will need to run it past our IT dept.

Yes I think the programming looks right!

However, I'm not sure the comp function is working as I'd expect it to...it appears to be adding the radius value to diameters (Z moves only) and faces (X moves only), whereas it should only compensate angular moves in both X and Z
Because you touch on the bottom of the tip and the front of the tip when cutting its only the radius on slopes that causes an issue if not compensated for.
Let me know what you think and I'll look at what it should be doing.
