Orac 1983 unable to change Spindle Speed

Hello All, I have a 1983 Orac with a spindle speed problem.
When I start the spindle it reaches a constant speed and I am unable to change the speed
using the -ve and +ve buttons. The bleeper is working but no change in speed.

Does the machine change speed within a program ? ? If so it is most likely the connections of the ribbon cable from the front keypad to the board.

Thank you for responding.
No it doesn't change within the program.
It did work fine until I triggered the limit switch on the x axis.

Have you tried the reset buttons underneath the front panel ? ?

Yes, everything seems ok. I have ran a program, but spindle speed cannot be changed.
