Triac canned cycles problem

Post by rasp » Wed 26 Mar , 2008 15:54 pm

When I try to use a canned cycle on my Servo Triac (FANUCMS V1.30) I rapid to the start point 25mm above the job but the canned cycle then tries to rapid down 73mm not the 2mm above the job.

I don't understand why, any ideas,

Here is the code.

N3 (5MM DRILL)
T3 M6
G43 H3
G00 X17. Y10. Z25. S1000 M3 (in the correct place when measured)
G81 X17. Y10. Z-12. R2. F100. (tries to go -73mm)
X-17.
Y-10.
X17.
G80
M1

If I program the tool long hand, it works fine. E.g.

G00 Z2.
G01 Z-12. F100.
G00 Z25.
Etc.

Thanks

Graham.
