I have the three original drives out of my denford Triac mill these are
2off parker SD2 and one off sd 3 they are on the motherboard with the power supply, these drives may have a problem I'll explain if there is any interest.
I'll explain anyway, if you plug any of the drives into the motherboard individually they work perfect, if you add another drive to the motherboard strange things happen, missed steps, jerky movement, sometimes no movement, this happens on any combination of the drives,no matter which drive you put in which socket !!
I know what your thinking "thats easy, its a fault with the motherboard" I wish it was that simple, the motherboard is a very simple circuit board that just has tracks to distribute the inputs and outputs and everything on the motherboard checks out OK . ?
oh and i have the three stepper motors off the triac too if anyone is looking.
CD20
I also have three parker CD20 drives these are working perfect just the wiring has been adapted to take the inputs soldered direct onto the motherboard. The power supply is not there ,just the drives and motherboard and the manual of how they adjust for current control , and half step/full step
These drives were also on my triac using mach3 but now i have gone with servo's so these are for sale .
CD20's are SOLD
