Hi, Can anyone help?
I have just got an easimill with the pnc3 old controller, I want to store programs to the tape deck but have no mini tapes. Does anyone out there know which brand of mini audio tapes work in these decks please?
I have tried Philips and BT so far but these do not physically fit in the unit. I have bought a few other brands on ebay to try but they have not arrived yet.
Then thought it might be easier to just ask the question.
Cheers Craig

I used to have an Easimill 3 and an Easiturn 2 that used those Data tapes, I managed to get some off Ebay, that was after finding out they wanted £37 each for new ones!!

I don`t have the mill or lathe any more, (Moved up to a Cyclone P) but I think I may still have some of the tapes as I`m pretty sure they didn`t all go with the machines, I`ll have a look in the cupboards tomorrow for you!!

Does your mill not have an RS232 connection on it??

Hi Craig

I`ve found 3 of the Data tapes in my office filing cupboard, 2 are "Verbatim" brand and 1 is "Zetaco" Carlisle and is marked as a Braemar Certified Mini Data Cassette. They are all 80ft capacity.

If you`re interested then either PM or email me.

Mini Tapes

Post by Marco Mueller »

Hello!

I know - very late reply!
But if there is anyone still looking for those mini tapes - I still have 30 pieces new old stock!
With single plastik boxes.
I also bought them 2 years ago on ebay and i was wondering because they did not fit in my mini tape player!
Now i know why!

The tapes are unique to the cassette player & will accept no other tape. They are now obsolete.
However, I have new tapes available.

Let me know if you are interested..
