Post by bradders » Mon 24 Sep , 2007 13:23 pm

I have a Denford starturn serial no: EO 2494.
and no personel computer with this machine.
Is it posible for having the computerlink connection pins.
It's a 37-D Type connector.

A Starturn with a 37 way D Type connector was designed to work with a BBC computer.

The 37Way plug connects to the BBC computer 1MHz bus. The board inside the machine is pretty 'dumb' (it contains some counter/timer chips but no CPU) -all the clever stuff was done by the BBC and stored on a 'protected' EPROM.

So no BBC (and no EPROM), no Chance :!:

My only suggestion is something like a Mach retrofit .
