Re: Fanuc 0t MPG Handwheel troubleshooting
Thank very very much for this help.
Sir,
I tried to connect via r232 with procomm+ but was unable to do so. Though Ihad made the cable connections correct as per the pin digram at one of the posts in the forum. which I later conformed with a manual I was able to down load from the net.
Also I want to know about the direct connection to M5 HONDA CONNECTOR IN THE PANEL as I have seen the servicining guy who aslways connect to the board direct. and also which software to use.
Thanks again

If you have a fanuc reader interface/cable, then you should have no problem. ie, the 25 way connector with a flap and a cable which goes to a 25 way Honda connector.

Thanks Sir
I sent in a mail for the software this was the reply.
Yes, i can convert these PMC eprom. But the software is fee software.
If you like i can make a demo for you. You can send your 2 chips eprom
(27256) in binary code for me. I can convert and then send a part of your
PMC ladder program.
1.#ex---> oe1,oe2 150 euro
2.oe1,oe2--->#ex 150 euro
together buy discount is 250 euro
Any other options.
Sir I am suffering from MS relapsing for the last 4.5 years and from the last seven months I am completely bed ridden.
250Euros in quite a lot in Indian currency approx Rs. 20,000/-
If any option please help
Regards

Re: Fanuc 0t MPG Handwheel troubleshooting
Do you know what is required to be changed in the PMC ?
It is a very specialised area, and you would expect anyone who has the equipment and knows how to program Fanuc ladder, to charge lots of money.
I have seen stuff from China which will give you the hardware/software to read and write Fanuc PMC eproms cheaply, but you still need someone with the knowledge to do it correctly, and not end up leaving you with a dead machine tool.
