Hi all,
Im hoping you can help me. I need a replacement auto lube pump on my Triac. after a bit of googling to find a replacement i was shocked to find they go for silly money, cheapest i have found is around £500. is there an alternative i can use? such as a cheap chinese one?

What's wrong with the one you have?
They are quite a simple setup, and most spares are available for them.
(lubetec.co.uk are the dealer who I've used in the past)
If it's because oil is making it to the ways, it's far more likely to be an issue with the metering units (they can block, and the only reliable long term solution is to replace them), rather than the pump.

Thank you for your response, i had not heard of lubetec before, i looked on their website and they seem like the perfect supplier so thanks. the pump on my machine is a Bijur TM1 C2896, they sell a C2890 model, maybe i can make this work? hopefully just "plug and play".
the reason for needing a new pump is because unfortunately mine is indeed broken, the clear plastic reservoir for the oil is broken off/missing due to an unfortunate accident while moving the machine - doh!!
even if i can get a replacement reservoir, which i doubt. i believe the pump is knackered. when i turn on the spindle of the machine to initiate the pump, nothing happens apart from a slight buzz, the gears dont turn, maybe they are seized up? or maybe im misunderstanding how they function?

Spare reservoirs are available.
IIRC the C number refers to the exact configuration of motor. It specifies the motor speed/plunger cycle time and the voltage.
They're not a complicated thing, and the final motor drive is likely to rotate very slowly, so may appear to be seized if you try watching it rotate. You'll probably have to mark the gear/plunger and let it run for a few minutes.
(I can't remember, and I'm on holiday but does the Triac lubricator have the plunger externally?)
