what alternate materials similar to balsa wood can be used in the compact 1000. what operating speeds can be used and on what materials. i have looked at craft materials, but i am not sure what would be a cheaper alternate for milling F1 cars.

F1 cars have to be made of Balsa to compete but for proving designs foam could be used but may be just as expensive.

Where stepdown is the percentage of tool diameter:
eg stepdown 75 on a 6mm cutter means it will cut down 4.5mm in Z on each pass.
