Running Pro|DESKTOP on Microsoft Vista
When trying to install Pro|DESKTOP on the new Vista operating system for
PCs everything goes well until you try to create a solid such as an
extrusion when this error message appears;
"The command has been aborted. An internal error occurred in
Pro|DESKTOP. It is more than likley that doing the same thing again will
produce the same error"

To resolve this problem carry out the following;

Check you have administrator rights to the computer.
Locate the desktop icon for Pro|DESKTOP.
Right click on the Pro|DESKTOP icon and from the floating menu select
Properties.
In the Properties dialog window locate the Compatibility settings.
From the list of operating systems select Windows 2000
Close the Properties dialog and run Pro|DESKTOP, create an extrusion to
check operation.
Close Pro|DESKTOP
Edit the icon properties again resetting the operating system to Windows
XP SP2.

There is already a thread on this.

I tried the method above but still had no joy.

In the end I ran in Win 95 mode then it worked after that it will run in any mode.

Its a bit of a mess to get working but once up it seems ok!
