Software/License Help!

Hi all,

I've recently purchased a Novamill from a local school.

Unfortunately, it didn't come with a functioning PC and hence I have no license key.

I have identified that the machine is using a denMINT V2.1.b6 EPROM and have downloaded VR Milling V2.31 onto my Windows 10 laptop.

Is this going to work if somehow I could obtain a license key (Do I need to buy one?)?

As you may have gathered, I haven't got a clue! Only bought the machine to learn the basics.

Thanks,
Joe :)

Without checking the list myself, have you checked which version of the software you can run. I dont know if denford will still do vr2, so if you can you want vr5, easy to dload BUT you need to talk to denford about a licence £££, some people gut and sell on the control and fit other stuff. Im happy with the denford stuff and have used it at work for 20+yrs.

So check and see if you can run vr5, then drop denford a line for the cost. Worth weighing up your options

Just a thought for down the line, do you have usb on your novamill? Do you have rs232 port on your laptop? Start reading up on all the posts about getting things talking. Pete
