Can I grab some legacy software from here https://website.denford.ltd.uk/support/9 ... s-software
Use the Flashes.txt to unlock the software and use that to run my Microturn lathe?

I can dig up a WIN98 disk and setup an older computer to run the software.
IF all the above is correct do I need a certain cable to hook up from my com port to the 25 pin port on the lathe?

I have another thread where I ask about using Mach3 and a driver board but if I can get it up and running using the original software I'll go that route.
Of course I'm not sure of my options, I just bought the lathe.

What is the color of the seven segment LED? If it's red what version is the Eprom?

I think that is a VR Eprom so none of the legacy Dos software would connect.

We do sell single user licences of the VRTurning software.

Where are you located?

You would need to contact your local agent for a price.
