Hello all,
I have recently aquired a Denford NovaMill and NovaTurn.
I have downloaded the windows software onto an XP pc and have the dongles for LatheCam and MillCam.
I understand that you must run another program in dos to get these tools to work...
flstep.exe?
Can i get some advices from you guys?
the software is 2.96 on the novamill and 4.2 on the novaturn

I think its flstep on the lathe and fanucmd for the mill.

ok, so what is the syntax used to run this program.... flstep.exe /? /novaturn /?
and has anyone run these programs on a pc that has XP on it?
I have experience with DOS, just dont know where to go with this....

Sorry to be vague, but I've never run this stuff - I believe it'll run in XP although you may have more success by creating a virtual PC with DOS on it or using something like DOSbox.
It used to boot off a floppy disk which contained a few files including some setup files to do with how the machine was connected and whether a tutor keypad was used. Have a good read around the forum for clues - all this has been gone over a various points in the past:
