When I try to import a car into VWT Mk2 (2004) version only the wheels appear in the VWT screen

It is not clear to me what could be the problem. The Mk2 (2004) version can only accept STL's in ASCII format, whereas the later releases can accept both ASCII and Binary. If attempted, the default (car body) object will disappear from view, leaving only the default wheels, but the new geometry will not be imported. So, to resolve this, make sure the STL is ASCII.

If it is ASCII, and the geometry still does not "arrive", it may be because the filename is too complicated for our restricted 7-character filename option, or it might have spaces. Keep the filename simple, eg MYCAR12.STL.
