Hello all!
I am using Linuxcnc that came with the machine and i am also using Easel as a CAM/CAD software.
I posted before about trying to figure out my old machine out. I managed to get the G code to load but .... Its showing me this. I use Easel for my designs but its clearly doing smth off unless its just me doing the config wrong or smth.
Additionally i am trying to home axis but its just telling me that switches are inactive with a grunt.
I can move the machine manually but im afraid config stuff feels like space magic x3
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
Surely a noob like me can figure this old cranky elizabeth out.

Re: Machine Troubleshooting Help !!!!
It sounds like the control in your Router has been retro fitted by a third party.
It would have been supplied with a Baldor SmartStep or DenStep running Denford Software (Dos or VR CNC Milling).
I would look on a Linux cnc forum or contact whoever did the retro fit.

Hi Martin
I do believe it was retrofitted. It was an auction piece so its anyone's guess who did the retrofitting. I was (once I got more room) going to get a secondary computer and use either Mach3 or purchase a Denford control software. Linux gives me a headache trying to figure it out. If it helps ill post my control Box picture i took earlier.
Does any of this look fammiliar?
Thank you!

Re: Machine Troubleshooting Help !!!!
There is not much there that is Denford origional equipment.
Unfortunatley unless anyone recognises the control card fitted we will not be able to help.
