NextMove Control Card lost the mint

I have a new Micromill with the new NextMove Control Card - orange LED Display - that lost the mint file.
The LED display has a Dash in the middle with a blinking dot in the lower right corner.
I have tried "Check My Machine" with EasyUpgrader v1.10.0.110, it goes scrolls through "Trying Next Node: 9" and the error windows pops up "A suitable Denford Machine could not be found". Tried both a USB Cable and a 9-to9 pin RS-232 test cable.
Tried using "Force Firmware" and the error pops up "must use a setXXXLink function".
Also tried the "Advanced" and "Card Test" features and "Could not find machine !" "Unknown Controller" stays on in EasyUpgrader.

Any ideas on how to install the mint files?

Try this:

Turn off the power.
Carefully remove the eeprom (to the right of the USB socket on the balder board) with a silver label on it.
Power back on and try again.

If this now works, turn off, fit the eeprom and try again.

I removed the EPROM from the control card and power up the machine, a "6" with a flashing dot is on the LED display and then tried to connect. A RS-232 error popped up on screen after several minutes of "initializing". I re-installed the EPROM and the RS-232 error pops up when trying to connect.

What should I try next?

Install the latest baldor workbench off the V5 CD:
Mint Machine Center and Mint WorkBench Build 5600 setup.exe

Connect via USB only and run the mint workbench from the desktop icon
Click Start New Project, then Scan

Let's see if workbench can find the board

I have Workbench running and it connected to the card,
"Controllers found
Controller with no firmware on USB"

What steps do I need to do to download the firmware to the control card?

Thanks

You'd have to download the firmware with the latest easyupgrader, however, you say that won't connect.
So it sounds like a faulty board we'll have to return to Baldor.
