Hi everybody,
my name is Hans Jürgen and I am from Germany.
Since 40 years I own a Denford Viceroy 280 lathe in metric version and long bed ( 1 meter between centers ),
which I bought brand-new from a local dealer.
It is the version MVS , manual variable speed with hand wheel control.
It is most completely equipped with all available attachments and extras from that time.
Unfortunately, the documents and arrangement drawings that came with the lathe are for the last version 280VS with motor driven variable speed.
The lathe is still in very good condition, but I would like to replace the crossfeed and compound spindle and nuts, these are the most worn parts.
Trapez thread 1/2" x 2.5 mm, special thread to Denford specification.
Can anybody help with original manufacturing drawings for spindles and nuts ? I had them downloaded previously from this forum,
but somehow I lost them and cannot find them again.
Also, I would like to have the original arrangement drawings for the Headstock and Drive Arrangement for my lathe version.
Of course, all available drawings would be welcome.
