Can you please advise me on making adjust to the drive belt on the above machine. The belt now just slips and the stone does not move. The machine serial number is TDS12240.

According to this: https://www.gandmtools.com/makerspages/DV-sharpedge.pdf, the Sharpedge had a direct worm and wheel drive from motor to spindle.

It also says that the coolant pump was driven from the motor spindle - is the belt the user is talking about?

Is it possible to rotate the stone by hand? If so, I would suggest a loose/missing/sheared grubscrew or roll pin somewhere in the drive.

I can't remember whether I found a manual for the Sharpedge - there may be one in the pile of manual machine data in the old DO

With it been an old machine we are not sure how adjustment should be made. Is the belt made up of seperate links? If so you can remove a link and recouple.

Many thanks. Yes the belt is as you describe and it worked.
